ASLP SEMINAR
The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP), a PRC-accredited CPD provider, will conduct a summer conference with the theme “Bolstering Research: The Role of Librarians and Information Professionals in the Ideation, Use and Preservation of Outstanding Researches” at Metrocentre Hotel and Convention Center in Tagbilaran City, Bohol from May 22-24, 2019.
The main objective of this seminar is to jumpstart significant missions for academic and special research librarians in this era of complex, digitally- powered information universe.
Specifically, it aims to discuss methods where librarians and information professionals can encourage the proliferation of research culture; enhance library services and collections apropos of the organizational research agenda; and promote best practices and innovations in the promotion and preservation of these research assets.
Librarians, library administrators, support staff, teachers and students of Library and Information Science, consultants and other information professionals are invited to attend the Congress. Conference registration fee includes kit, accommodation, meals, and certificates of participation/ appearance.
