SGV taps SAS in strategic alliance to advance AI and analytics solutions
Professional Services firm SGV & Co. has keyed in a strategic alliance with SAS, a global leader in analytics, to advance its efforts to deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Advanced Analytics solutions across a number of key industry sectors in the Philippines.
The deal, a statement showed, will cover various sectors including financial services, government and public sectors, consumer products and retail, agriculture and agribusiness.
In the Philippines, many business owners are aware of the urgent need to incorporate data analytics and AI strategy into their overall business plan.
J. Carlitos G. Cruz, Chairman and Managing Partner of SGV, said SGV is committed to embedding analytics capabilities across its services.
“The skills, brand, relationships and business knowledge of SGV, coupled with its efforts to promote AI techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing and automation, offer a compelling value proposition for our clients. By sharing insights, cross-pollinating ideas and innovating with SAS, we anticipate more opportunities for long-term thought leadership, capacity building and systemic transformation in the future,” he further said.
The alliance focuses on combining the data, software and processing capabilities of various SAS platforms with SGV’s consulting, industry, and market experience and expertise, giving clients a single access point for advanced analytics service offerings.
“We look forward to enabling local businesses in the age of digital disruption and collectively supporting the development of Philippines’ analytics economy,” Ryan Guadalquiver, Country Manager of SAS Philippines, said.
Recently, SAS announced its $1 billion global investment in AI focusing on software innovation and education expert services over the next three years. The commitment builds on SAS’ strong foundation in AI, which includes advanced analytics, machine learning, deep learning, Neuro-linguistic programming, and computer vision.
