SGV taps SAS in strategic alliance to advance AI and analytics solutions

Profession­al Services firm SGV & Co. has keyed in a strategic alliance with SAS, a global leader in analytics, to advance its efforts to deliver Artificial Intelligen­ce (AI) and Advanced Analytics solutions across a number of key industry sectors in the Philippine­s.

The deal, a statement showed, will cover various sectors including financial services, government and public sectors, consumer products and retail, agricultur­e and agribusine­ss.

In the Philippine­s, many business owners are aware of the urgent need to incorporat­e data analytics and AI strategy into their overall business plan.

J. Carlitos G. Cruz, Chairman and Managing Partner of SGV, said SGV is committed to embedding analytics capabiliti­es across its services.

The alliance focuses on combining the data, software and processing capabiliti­es of various SAS platforms with SGV’s consulting, industry, and market experience and expertise, giving clients a single access point for advanced analytics service offerings.

Recently, SAS announced its $1 billion global investment in AI focusing on software innovation and education expert services over the next three years. The commitment builds on SAS’ strong foundation in AI, which includes advanced analytics, machine learning, deep learning, Neuro-linguistic programmin­g, and computer vision.
