‘When we decided to work together with an ambassador, Scarlet was really our first and only choice. She already has her own sense of style at such a young age, and her loveable personality really embodies what the brand stands for.’

More often than not, bright ideas are deeply ingrained into a child’s brain—some, left hidden for years, only to be unearthed at the opportune time. Twenty-nine-year-old new mom

Chauntia Chan Ang recounts how she was surrounded by good quality shoes every since she was a child, “My dad travels a lot and every time he travels, he would always bring home a pair of shoes, or a few pairs of shoes, from sandals to dress shoes to school shoes, as well as boots, even if it was always too hot to wear them in Manila.”

It was bound to happen, her father’s love for shoes has been passed on to her, influencing her taste in quality and style. Chauntia, who is now the brand’s executive vice president, proudly shares, “This inspired me to build Meet My Feet in the Philippines.”

Since its inception in 2013, Meet My Feet has been growing exponentially. With 32 branches nationwide, the brand has weathered many trials that have taught them valuable lessons. “We really try to make them reasonable for the parents, because our children’s feet, they get bigger all the time. Within one to three months, you change to another pair of shoes,” explains Chauntia of how the company understands every parent’s plight regarding children’s feet that grow too fast.

Despite their consideration of affordable pricing starting at P899, they do not scrimp on delivering high quality shoes. They also have higher price points that offer genuine leather shoes. With padded and cushioned insoles, children can run and play with style and ease. Upon entry at any of their stores and kiosks, parents and children alike would get overwhelmed with the number of shoe models the brand has up on display. "Style is an important factor, especially as kids now are more discerning and fashion-conscious,” explains Chauntia, adding that their sizing can accommodate up to EU 37.

Now on its sixth year, the brand has grown more confident in introducing their shoes to a bigger market. The team only had one child in mind to represent this fun footwear retail brand, and it was Scarlet

Snow Belo. Chauntia says, “When we decided to work together with an ambassador, Scarlet was really our first and only choice. She already has her own sense of style at such a young age, and her loveable personality really embodies what the brand stands for. She’s always ready to explore, learn, enjoy,–– and make the most of her everyday experiences. We love to show moms and kids that they can also take their Meet My Feet shoes on similar adventures.”
