“Kasi buong taon, tuloy-tuloy din po ako. So I think well deserved ko naman ’yun (ang magpahinga).

Deserve ko naman ’yung magpahinga and then meron din po ako kasi kailangang ibang asikasuhin outside po sa showbiz.” She later added: “Saan galing?

Actually, Nadine need not address the talks as she appears to be in tip-top shape, certainly without belly bump.

Well, she’s sexier now not because she’s on a diet plan, but that she fell ill few days ago due to a bug that’s been going around. “Lahat ng tao may sakit, kasi kakagaling lang sa rainy season...”

‘Your Moment’

Nadine will soon be seen on TV via “Your Moment,” which has singing and dancing competitions in one reality show. Performances will be done on a state-of-the-art revolving, immersive set.

Also on the judges panel are Boy Abunda and Billy Crawford. Luis Manzano and Vhong Navarro serve as hosts.

“Ang dami kong natutunan sa show na ito, sa mga tapings po namin. Ang dami kong mga bagong tao na nakikilala,” she said.

Nadine was so inspired by the experience that she was quite emotional writing her acceptance speech for her latest Best Actress award which she was unable to personally accept as she was taping an episode for “Your Moment.”

“For years, it felt like I was mindlessly walking on a dark misty road, with a heart full of doubt and hopelessness... Hard to believe that a person like me has so much selfdoubt... I was afraid of failure, too... Big dreams, I almost abandoned because of fear... Us, people, are naturally allergic to negatives that might occur in our lives,” part of her post read.

Despite that, Nadine acknowledged the universe works in “mysterious ways.”

“I swear, I gave up so many times and for some reason no matter how risky and impossible the road may seem, I needed to continue walking... I’ve always been one to question my purpose and now its never been more clear. Maraming Salamat po

Gawad Urian.”

In the interview, Nadine shared her boyfriend, James Reid, was supposed to represent her at the award nights except that he had prior commitment too. Emotional

As James was a judge on the justconcluded “Idol Philippines,” we asked Nadine if she got some tips from him.

“Actually sa akin po siya humingi ng tips,” she revealed. “Tinatanong niya ako paano napapansin ’yung performance, paano naiisip kung ano ’yung gusto sabihin, gusto i-comment. This was before pa mag-start ang

‘Idol.’”

According to Nadine, her “Your Moment” co-judges helped her a lot when it came to delivering her opinions.

The actress admits she gets emotional on the job at times, especially after contestants tell their stories. Well, the judges will evaluate the acts’ performances using an emotion meter knob to reflect their scores in real time.

“Alam mo ’yung struggle yet ganyan kagagaling. ’Yung iba walang lugar na mapag-practice-an, ’di na nakakauwi, ’di na nakakain, walang mapamasahe — very inspiring stories,” she shared. “Hindi ko mapigilan matuwa para sa kanila. Performer din ako, alam ko pakiramdam mahirapan — like walang tulog, masakit katawan. Galing din ako sa girl group. Nararamdaman ko ’yung nararamdaman nila pagtungtong ng stage mula sa proseso, ’pag nakapag-perform na

especially on national TV where lahat napapanuod.”

“Your Moment” is a collaboration between ABS-CBN and Dutch powerhouse creator Fritz Productions. The acts will have to power through four competition levels in order to become one of the grand champions: “Your First Moment,” ”Your Moment of Choice,” “Your Moment of Power,” and “Your Grand Moment.”

“Your Moment” premieres on Nov. 9.
