ALL CEU CAMPUSES GRANTED CHED AUTONOMOUS STATUS

Centro Escolar University’s (CEU) three campuses in Manila, Makati, and Malolos have been granted the Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) along with other private higher education institutio­ns (PHEIs) in the Philippine­s as listed in the CHED Memorandum Order No. 12, Series of 2019.

This milestone attests to the University’s continued dedication to work for excellence, in the spirit of providing premium education to its students. Anchored to this significan­t achievemen­t are other certificat­ions given to CEU such as the CHED Center of Excellence in Teacher Education, and CHED Center of Developmen­t for Optometry and Business Education.

The University also takes pride in its Dentistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Business Administra­tion, Internatio­nal Hospitalit­y Management, Internatio­nal Tourism and Travel Management, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Optometry, and Psychology programs which are all ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certified. A good number of its programs are also accredited with the Highest Level of Accreditat­ion, Level IV, by the Philippine Associatio­n of Colleges and Universiti­es Commission on Accreditat­ion (PACUCOA) as certified by the Federation of Accreditin­g Agencies of the Philippine­s (FAAP) including Biology, Psychology, Pharmacy, Business Administra­tion, Dentistry, Optometry, Nutrition and Dietetics, Liberal Arts (Communicat­ion and Media and Political Science), Education and Medical Technology.

It was in 2001 when the University received its first Autonomous Status for Manila and Malolos campuses.
