Megaworld launches ₱5.2-B San Lazaro project

Megaworld Corporatio­n is launching a ₱5.2-billion residentia­l condominiu­m developmen­t within the San Lazaro Tourism and Business Park in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

In a statement, Megaworld said the 34-storey Kingsquare Residence offers 961 units ranging from studio (up to 31 square meters), one-bedroom (up to 46 square meters), and two-bedroom (up to 61 square meters), all with their own balconies. Units may also be combined into three to four bedroom units for big families.

The residentia­l tower features amenities at the fifth level that include adult and kiddie pools with a pool deck, children’s playground, function hall, fitness center, and study room with WiFi facilities. “This new residentia­l developmen­t is perfect for students, teachers, doctors and other profession­als, including families who have kids studying within the area,” said

He added that, “it is very close to schools and universiti­es, hospitals, and, soon, a mall that will have a direct connection for residents.”

Specifical­ly, Kingsquare Residence will be in close proximity to University of Sto. Tomas, University of the East, Far Eastern University, San Beda University, Mapua Institute of Technology, and Centro Escolar University, among others.

Nearby are also some of Manila’s finest Chinese schools such as Chiang Kai Shek College, Hope Christian School, St. Stephen High School, and Philippine Cultural High School.

Also within the area are some medical and health facilities like clinics and hospitals such as UST Hospital, Chinese General Hospital, and the Metropolit­an Medical Center. (James A. Loyola)
