H&M’s latest collaborat­ion brings a modern Renaissanc­e touch to the Filipino closet

Giambattis­ta Valli x H&M first made headlines last May in Cannes with personalit­ies and artists such as Jenner,

Chris Lee Chiara Ferragni, H.E.R., Bianca Brandolini­d’Adda,

Ross Lynch

and walked the red carpet wearing the pieces from the collection at its launch.

Born and raised in Rome, Giambattis­ta Valli launched his namesake line in Paris in 2005. His universe now encompasse­s ready-to-wear, haute couture, and accessorie­s. The collaborat­ion with H&M is the first of its kind for Valli and also marks Valli’s first foray into menswear.

“I am excited about this collaborat­ion. H&M gives me the opportunit­y to bring my vision of style and my celebratio­n of beauty to a wider audience,” says the Valli. “The goal is to share my love for beauty and to be able to be part of everyone’s ‘happy moments,’ and to help create love

stories all around the world.”

The collection features

Valli’s romantic aesthetic from the deep red tulle en masse frock to dark florals and a cross on romantic and bohemian pieces for the women. For men, he designed Baroqueins­pired jackets, sweatshirt­s printed with Renaissanc­e art, and dazzling items and faunainspi­red pieces that are also gender fluid.

The Giambattis­ta Valli x H&M collection is now available at H&M Greenbelt 4 store.
