North Makati welcomes new community mall
Assembly Grounds at The Rise, the newest community hub at the heart of North Makati (NOMA), formally opened its doors last Oct. 28. Executives from Shang Properties, Inc. (SPI) and its realty partner Vivelya Development Co., Inc. led the launch and welcomed guests at NOMA’s newest hangout.
Wilfred Woo, executive director of SPI explained how the two-story lifestyle complex mirrors the youthful spirit of the emerging NOMA community, which is known for its vibrant art, music, and food scene — all a stone’s throw away from Makati Central Business District.

Grounds caters to guests’ needs, be it convenient shopping destinations, delicious dining options, or spots for rest and relaxation. It’s a place where they can balance home and work, delighting in the unexpected and forming connections that matter,” he said.
“As we formally open Assembly Grounds to the public, we look forward to becoming a place this new community can develop around. The future of Makati is right here in NOMA, and we can’t wait to be a huge and active part of that,” Woo added.
Joining Woo for the ceremonial toast were SPI executives Karlo Marco Estavillo, COO and CFO; Giggio Jugo, EVP; KC Koay, senior project director; and Miguel Feuermann, property management director. Lala Fojas, EVP and GM of Shangri-La Plaza Corp. also took part in the toast, along with Vivelya Development Co., Inc. representatives Aurora Yap-Yu and Corazon Yap.
