More fun again until midnight

-

I always try not to get emotionally attached to shows I do. Having been in show business for years, I know everything here is temporary (lalo na ang mga shows sa TV ha!) and that programs and talents come and go. (Saan ba may forever?!)

If one of my shows ends (minsan pa nga sabay-sabay), I just thank the people who gave me the opportunity, the production team and the show’s supporters, then hope for new projects to come. (Para ’di nganga!)

Last week, I bade farewell to my daily radio morning show. Management decided to put me in the evening slot because surveys show that there is a significant increase of listeners at night. (So ako na ipa-pa-in sa gabi ng lagim!)

I did my “noemotions, no-drama” approach to the situation even though I was thinking that my morning show witnessed my challenges and victories for so many years. I was on flashback mode on my last airing in the morning. (Medyo may emote factor pa rin pala!)

I have been a radio jock for 11 years now, with the first two years spent on the evening slot (so parang may comeback ako sa gabi!). At one point, I did double shifts daily (kulang na lang lunukin ko ’yung mikropono!). My current network is my 3rd radio station. (Naka-ilang tawid din ako ha!)

Effective this week, “The Win Big Show With MR.FU” on 91.5 Win Radio airs weeknights from 9 to 12 (Eto rin ’yung oras ko nu’ng nenitang DJ pa ako!). Indeed, the ang taga-bulabog ng buong universe commits to rock radio listeners at night. (May ganon?!)

Radio will always be special to me. TV is my element, radio my passion. I am grateful I continue to do the things I want. (Na may talent fee ha!)
