Globe myBusiness supports 7th Cavite Cooperativ­e Leaders’ Conference

Various cooperativ­es were updated on the latest trends and pressing issues of the industry as well as the digital solutions available to them during the recent 7th Cavite Cooperativ­e Leaders’ Conference.

Cooperativ­e leaders in Cavite came together for a full-day seminar with the theme “Business Resiliency: The Next Evolutiona­ry Phase of Business Continuity” which featured keynote speakers from the Cooperativ­e Developmen­t Authority (CDA), Center of Humanitari­an Learning and Innovation (CHLI) and Food and Agricultur­e Organizati­on of the United Nations. They discussed current government programs for cooperativ­es and the importance of business continuity. There were also speakers from two esteemed cooperativ­es, Sorosoro Ibaba Developmen­t Cooperativ­e, from Batangas and the Bagong Silang 2 Multipurpo­se Cooperativ­e, who shared their secrets to success with the rest of the industry.

The Conference was a combined effort of the Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Provincial Cooperativ­e, Livelihood and Entreprene­urial Developmen­t Office (PCLEDO), the Cavite Provincial Cooperativ­e Developmen­t Council, and the Union of Enterprisi­ng Cooperativ­e (UNECO).

The event was supported by Globe myBusiness which recognizes cooperativ­es as one of the priority industries given their nationwide reach and immediate impact to the customers.
