Korean star Lee Min Ho celebrated his 14th year in showbiz recently by thanking fans for their support.

“Thank you for celebrating my 14th debut anniversary. I really appreciate everything all of you have supported every step in my career. Hoping all of your life stay happy,” the actor wrote on Instagram.

The 32-year-old actor stars on the SBS and Netflix TV series “The King: Eternal Monarch,” his comeback drama since being discharged from the military in April last year.

Lee Min Ho was only 18 when he starred on the EBS drama “Secret Campus,” which premiered on May 10, 2006, the date which he considers as his debut. The following year, he appeared on the dramas “I Am Sam” and “Mackerel Run.”

But it was the 2009 drama “Boys Over Flowers” that brought him fame and stardom. His role as Gu Jun-pyo also gave Lee Min Ho his first acting awards as best new actor at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards and 2009 KBS Drama Awards.

From 2010 to 2013, he starred on TV dramas “Personal Taste” with Son Ye-jin, “City Hunter” with Park Min-young, “Faith” with Kim Hee-sun, and “The Heirs” with Park Shin-hye and Kim Woo-bin. His last drama project before his military enlistment was “Legend of the Blue Sea” with actress Jun Ji-hyun.

Lee Min Ho is also known for his charity work. Last March, he donated 300 million won (P12.41 million or $246,000) to people affected by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. He gave it through his charity platform Promiz, which he established in 2014 to make helping people a permanent part of his career.
