China Bank urges clients to use app

China Banking Corporatio­n (China Bank) is encouragin­g its clients to use the China Bank Mobile App’s PAY TO CASH function to safely send money or to pay anyone, even those without a bank account, amid the community quarantine period.

In a statement, the bank said money sent through the app via Pay to Cash, can be picked-up real time by the beneficiar­y from any China Bank or China Bank Savings Branch, or from any Cebuana Lhuillier, M.Lhuillier, Palawan Express, LBC, and One Network Bank outlet nationwide by simply presenting the reference number and a valid ID.

China Bank Mobile App also has a Cash Delivery function for same day cash delivery to addresses within Metro Manila.

The same day delivery applies to Cash Delivery transactio­ns made on or before 11 a.m. If after 11 a.m., the cash will be delivered on the following day.

For Cash Pick-up, clients can send up to ₱40,000 per transactio­n, with a daily aggregate limit of ₱200,000. For Cash Delivery, the maximum amount is ₱100,000 per transactio­n and up to ₱300,000 on a single day.

Beneficiar­ies can also check the status of the remittance through the China Bank Mobile App’s "Remittance Status Inquiry" without the need to log in.
