“My beloved fans! How are you? These days, people are asking one another how they are. I wonder how you’re doing,” he said in a handwritten letter uploaded by his agency Vast Entertainment.
He added, “As always, I’m shooting a new project. I have thought deeply about how I can deliver my gratitude for your encouragement and heart that you had sent to the shooting, so I’m writing this letter for you now.”
Hyun Bin is currently shooting the movie “Bargaining” a.k.a. “Negotiation,” about the rescue of a Korean abducted in the Middle East.
“Many staff and I have worked harder in shooting (the film) with your unwavering love and support that you showed me. I’m sincerely grateful for it. I’ll never forget your lovely heart, and I’ll make an effort so that I can reward you with better work,” he said.
The 37-year-old star told fans to “please stay healthy and take good care of yourself until the day when we can freely ask one another about how we are. One day in June, 2020.”
“Bargaining” stars Hwang Jungmin, Hyun Bin and Kang Ki-young. The production crew was planning to film in Jordan in March but it was cancelled due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), according to Korean media. Instead, the crew started filming scenes in South Korea.
Hyun Bin played the role of Ri Jeong-hyeok in “Crash Landing on You,” which ended with a nationwide rating of 21.68 percent to become the third highest rated Korean drama on Korean cable TV.
