Thurmond posts NBA’s first quadruple-double

OCTOBER 19, 1974 – Chicago’s Nate Thurmond becomes first in the NBA to complete a quadruple double – 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists and 12 blocks – in the Bulls’ 120-115 overtime win against the Atlanta Hawks.
