The Uni Love Squad is composed of the love teams of Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo, popularly known as Marven; Krissha Viaje and Jerome Ponce (Krisshrome); and Hyacinth Callado and Gab Lagman (Hygab). They are touted as the current generation’s next big leading ladies and leading men.

#Marven

Starting from the highly successful first season of The University Series, The Rain in España (2023), Marco Gallo and Heaven Peralejo continue to bring the kilig (thrill) with the follow-up projects they made after like The Ship Show (2023), For the Love (2023), and Sunny (in cinemas starting April 10). With Men are from QC and Women are from Alabang, based on Stanley Chi’s book, Marven will show how much they are willing to go for love. The movie Men are from QC, Women are from Alabang will premiere in cinemas on

May 1, 2024.

#Krisshrome

The tandem of Jerome Rome and Krissha Viaje for The University Series’ second season, Safe Skies, Archer (2024), was met with much love from fans, and they can’t get enough of it. Krisshrome returns in the upcoming Viva One horror series, Sem Break, on May 10, 2024. With the new six-part series, fans should watch out for the different side of Krisshrome, which will make them fall in love with this love squad all over again.

#Hygab

Also joining Krisshrome for Sem Break would be the next Uni Love Squad to watch out for: Hygab, composed of newcomer Hyacinth Callado, introduced in Safe Skies, Archer, and certified hunk actor Gab Lagman. Aside from being part of the Sem Break horror series, they will lead the third season of The University Series: Chasing in the Wild, which will come out this August. Hygab fans should watch out for the new romantic tandem of Elyse (Hyacinth) and Sevi (Gab), which will add more kilig to the series.

Learning experience

During a recent media conference held at Viva Cafe in Araneta City, the Viva love teams were asked what they have learned from the breakups of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (Kathniel) and Kim Chiu and Xian Lim (Kimxi).

Krissha said: "I don't believe in forever because nothing is permanent. So parang ang natutunan ko is focus on the now. Kung ano yung meron ngayon, i-enjoy ko na lang. And then huwag mo na munang isipin yung future too much? Doon kasi minsan lumalabas yung worries and expectations. Kung ano yung meron ngayon ine-enjoy lang talaga namin. Kung may konting issues, pinag uusapan naman. Hindi na rin kasi kami mga bata so for me, professional lang kami when it comes to work."

I knew Kathryn and Daniel before joining showbiz and watched their movies. I was thinking, 'Okay, we're an official love team. We might be working for a long time. Am I ready to spend between my 20s and my 30s, five years or 10 years of my life with this person? You won't even know what we're going to end up with.' I asked myself, 'I thought about it with all the pros and cons; I'm still willing to spend my years with you (Heaven)."

Gab said: "Ang natutunan ko siguro sa kanila is enjoy every moment because you don't know when it will last. So enjoy the process, how you're going to grow with each other because hindi talaga natin alam kailan magla-last ang loveteam. So enjoy the moment and be happy now."

The Uni Love Squad will continue to grow as new seasons of Studio Viva and Viva One’s The University Series progress. Fans are already anticipating the love teams of Bea Binene, Aubrey Caraan, and Nicole Omillo.
