CebuPac warns vs ticket fraud
LOW-COST (CEB) on Thursday issued a warning to its passengers to beware of travel agencies who engage in fraudulent transactions.
The airline company issued the warning after it recently intercepted passengers who attempted to use tickets booked under names of other persons.
CEB said these passengers pre which were allegedly provided by unauthorized travel agencies who itineraries with bookings under different names.
“CEB reminds the travelling public that passengers and travel agencies who engage in these fraudulent transactions may be charged with civil and criminal actions under existing laws, and may face imprisonment of up to 20 years,” the airline said in a statement.
It also encouraged passengers Mobile App, reservation hotlines, and to transact with legitimate sales agents.
