Marikina City Rep. Romero Quimbo, the spokesperson of the ruling Liberal Party, earlier said the administration’s Senate bets can be endorsed by other parties.
“If those outside of the coalition will endorse them [administration candidates] to strengthen their bid, it’s fine with us. But they can’t endorse other Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates other than our bets,” Quimbo told reporters.
“We have discussed that and we agreed that we can’t prevent others from embracing and throwing support to our candidates, but our Senate candidates should only campaign for and share the campaign stage with Presidential candidate [Manuel] Roxas and Vice Presidential candidate/Camarines Sur Rep.
