CEBU CITY’S P10.6-B BUS TRANSIT PROJECT PUT ON HOLD

CEBU CITY: The implementa­tion of the P10.6 billion Bus Rapid Transit ( BRT) project in Cebu City has been put on hold as a new mayor is set to take over the city government on July 1.

Lawyer Rafael Yap, project manager of the Cebu BRT Project Implementa­tion Unit, said they have to consult with the new administra­tion of incoming Mayor Tomas Osmeña.

Yap earlier said he was drafting a memorandum of agreement for the Transporta­tion and Communicat­ions - ties.
