On his birthday on July 10, the patriarch surprised his guests with a unique whole day celebration in his hometown at Tiaong, Quezon.

The day started with a solemn mass presided by Father Eric Mercurio and followed by a hearty breakfast. The food feast continued with a lunch buffet and merienda. But the highlight of the celebration came by nightfall, when Ramon Sabella, SM’s biggest retailer of women’s wear, led a dinner fashion show.

Guests were also treated to a mini concert featuring famous songstress Dulce who belted several popular songs. Special guest Ilocos Norter 2nd District Representative Imelda Marcos and company stayed until dinner. Pianist Ingrid Sta. Maria played some pieces on the piano while AP Limpot, son of Jun Limpot, accompanied her on the violin.
