2 DRUG DEALERS KILLED IN BENGUET

CAMP DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, Benguet: Two alleged drug traders were killed in Upper Tomay here after they engaged policemen who caught them selling shabu. Suspects Jerry Toda and Alan Lorenzano were intercepte­d by the Regional Intelligen­ce Unit 14 Benguet Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Unit and local policemen selling shabu to undercover agents but fled on a van with plate number RDE-107 which prompted a running gun battle and resulted to their death. Seized from the suspects were a caliber 38 revolver, a caliber 45 pistol, a sachet of marijuana and five more sachets of shabu. Meanwhile, another drug suspect – Mario Agbuya, 41 – was shot by assassins three times in front of his house along Lopez Jaena Street in Aurora Hill, Baguio City. Police said Agbuya earlier surrendere­d to police for his drug pushing activities. Since July, 18 people have been killed in Baguio City for drug-related activities.

DRUG DEALER SLAIN IN ANGELES CITY

AN ALLEGED drug pusher – Mark Leo Lansang, alias “Dumug” – was killed in a shootout with the police on Wednesday in Angeles City, Pampanga. His three companions escaped. Chief Supt. Aaron Aquino, Police Regional Office 3 Director, said Lansang and his group were the target of the operation in Arayat Boulevard in Barangay Pampang. Recovered from the crime scene were one heat-sealed plastic sachet of shabu weighing 5 grams estimated at P6,000 with the marked money, and a caliber 38 revolver with ammunition­s.
