The new Rustan’s at Gateway

RUSTAN’S at Gateway Mall adds a new dimension of luxury and exclusivity to the country’s premiere shopping destination in Araneta, Cubao. Twice hailed as the shopping center of the year in 2006 and 2007 by the Philippine Retailers Association, unveiling Rustan’s at Gateway Mall’s new and modernized retail space gives a new edge to the area, and treats the customers to more shopping options.

To officially launch this new shopping destination, special guests, press, and loyal patrons were invited to “Like. Follow. Share.” as it brings bigger, better, and bolder choices to the discerning shoppers of the north. Selfie-ready models made pretty by Max Factor and Sally Hansen strut around The Gateway Mall, in Araneta Center, inviting visitors to go around the new retail space and check out each floor for great shopping finds and exciting activities such as free makeovers and nail application by Rustan’s The Beauty Source for the ladies, Whiskey tasting by The Dalmore for the gentlemen, home appliance and cooking demos for the homemakers, and free play for the kids by Lego and LeapFrog. Guests were served with cocktails and tasty canapés, luscious chocolates by Ferrero Rocher, and sweet treats by Krispy Kreme and Dairy Queen.

As the main highlight of the evening, special guests head on over to the main stage for a celebratory toast and for the official opening ceremony, which were led by Rustan Commercial Corporation President Donnie Tantoco, and Chairman Jojie Lloren, Dina Tantoco and Robbie Carmona and CEO Zenaida Tantoco. Joining them on stage were Rustan’s Vice President for Home Merchandising Marilen Tantoco, Rustan’s Chairman Emeritus Amb. Bienvenido Tantoco, Sr., SSI Group Inc.’s Anton Huang, Judy Araneta Roxas, and Novotel Manila’s Bernd Schneider, as well as Ernie Lopez, Sonnie Angara, and Margarita Fores.

The new Rustan’s at Gateway Mall includes more expansive specialty levels dedicated to the most luxurious finds in cosmetics, fashion, and home. In wide, well-lit shopping aisles, the new Rustan’s at Gateway Mall offers a “gateway” for true luxury finds, from the world’s most premium labels to the Philippines’ own powerful brands.

From its former 3,500 sqm retail space, Rustan’s at Gateway Mall now boasts a more impressive expanse, covering over 9,000 sqm.
