BUILDING properties with a heart, caring for the environment and the wellness of the buyers as well, that is the ArthaLand way.

With the passion for building boutique, world- class and sustainable developments embedded in ArthaLand Corporation’s DNA, every ArthaLand development is sure to be a green development you can be proud of.

“These three will always be at the core of all projects, in whatever business segment that we serve,” said ArthaLand presi Villa-Lacson.

Since its inception, ArthaLand has made it a mission to ensure that all of its products will promote sustainability. A testament to this is the green building and targets to achieve.

the Arya Residences project in Bonifacio Global City, which is the Philippines’ first and only top- end residential development to achieve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design(LEED) Building Council.

“I’ve always wanted that sustainability will be part of our values. That’s part of the vision from the beginning,” De VillaLacson said.

Despite starting off on a residential project, ArthaLand has proven that green building can be incorporated in various types of developments, as its next two Global City and the recently unveiled Cebu Exchange project in Cebu City.

At present, the ongoing development is in the LEED rating system.

Similarly, ArthaLand also targets to have its Cebu Exchange project also dual

“And because if there is pride in what you do, then you do it better. You do it well. It’s really about pride in what you’re doing. That you’re doing something that

In line with having pride in what the company is building, De Villa-Lacson emphasized that ArthaLand is also educating green building.

“There were lectures by the head of our technical persons giving them [construction workers] a 15 minute talk every morning just to remind them. It really requires a lot of education not only for the buyers but also for the construction workers,” De Villa-Lacson said.

With the initial notion of green building being expensive, most people have the idea of putting up a green development -

However, De Villa-Lacson noted that with determination and hard work, green building is achievable.

- mined,” De Villa-Lacson said. “There is additional work that needs to be done. There is additional cost. But you have to believe in it because it’s not just about money it’s really about value. Because at the end of the day, it’s really about the value you give to the buyers.”

Among these value offered to ArthaLand’s buyers is the savings they get in operational costs.

“You give them savings in operational costs which is a big thing for the buyers,” De Villa-Lacson said.
