RWM volunteers bring LOVE to Manila Boystown

RESORTS World Manila (RWM) volunteers recently organized a one day outreach program for the little boys of Manila Boystown in Marikina City, as part of the integrated resorts’ advocacy to make communitie­s win.

Fifty boys aged seven to ten were treated to a fun day of classic Filipino games, a football training session with leading local football club Forza volunteers from RWM’s League of Volunteer Employees (LOVE). Gifts and sanitary supplies were also provided for the 180 children residents of the Manila Boystown.

“Volunteeri­sm is strongly encouraged in our workplace. The activity also kicked off the 2017 LOVE Grants program, which little aims to enable its employees to implement charitable programs that are both close to their hearts and aligned with the company’s CSR commitment­s of social developmen­t, environmen­tal sustainabi­lity, and the promotion of culture and the arts.
