PAL expects first Bombardier Q400 in Manila

FLAG carrier Philippine Airlines Bombardier Q400 to arrive in Manila on Wednesday day journey from Canada where the plane was manufactur­ed.

“We are excited to bring this new aircraft back to the Philippine­s and - - cant role in positionin­g Philippine in regaining its dominance in the domestic market,” PAL President Bautista said during the formal turnover in Toronto on July 20.

“We congratula­te Philippine Airlines for taking delivery of the world’s first dual- class, 86- seat that the airline will continue to benefit from the outstandin­g performanc­e of Bombardier turboprops,” Cromer added.

From Canada the plane flew to Iceland, France, Malta, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, India, and Thailand before arriving in Manila.

86 seats in economy and premium economy classes with 29-inch and 33-inch seat pitch respective­ly.
