CULINARY SCHOOL OPENS DOORS

-

FILIPINO students who want to establish a professional career in the culinary and food industry built on a good educational foundation acquired from a world-class culinary school can jumpstart their career by applying for enrollment at the HRC Culinary Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Located in a capital city with one of the fastest-growing tourism industries in Europe, HRC offers a two-year integrated culinary degree program that provides hands-on instruction in classic and contemporary culinary techniques.

The course also features an internship program during the first semester of each academic year, with the initial practicum to be conducted with the academy’s partnerinstitutions in Europe, Middle East or South Africa. The final internship covering 6 to 12 months shall be done in the United States.

The internships will enable participating students to experience first-hand the amazing culinary culture of each country and at the same time help them improve their efficiency, imagination and organizational skills.

The culinary degree program from HRC has received an accreditation from the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFEFAC) and is recognized by the Hotel School Ter Duinen of Belgium.

The academy’s tuition fees are almost similar to those charged by culinary schools in the Philippines, while the paid internship at the end of the course provides for a stipend that almost covers the cost of the entire academic program.

Interested students shall be assisted in processing their applications by International Education Specialists (Inter-Ed), the country’s pioneer and leading study abroad specialists. No service or placement fees shall be charged to those who will apply for enrollment at HRC Culinary Academy by September 2017 and start their studies not later than March 2018.

Now on its 37th year of providing professional services on overseas study, Inter-Ed has a placement record of 7,000-plus students for overseas study and 2,000-plus students for internship in various universities and colleges all over the world, including HRC.

HRC will attend the 2017 Career Counseling and Guidance Fair on Sept. 14-15, 2017 at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), Roxas Blvd. Pasay City. It will also conduct interviews for culinary interns and trainees for the US on Sept. 12 at the InterEd office, 2/F, Trafalgar Plaza, H.V. de la Costa, Salcedo Village, Makati City.
