- LOURDES T. PUYAWAN

unless the working environment is up to the mark which would only be possible if and when a school tries using newer and smarter methods of administration, preferably an online school management system.

Teachers in many schools and colleges across the world do not just have to teach the pupils, in fact, they are also responsible for organizing most of the important paperwork such as student appraisal reports, class schedules, attendance and so on. In some academic institutes, such procedures are being completed via the pen and paper approach. Every single report has to be hand written and student attendance is marked via traditional methods.

Such procedures do not only wastes time, but also has a greater margin of error and mistakes as well as waste in effort and resources. Through cloud-based technologies, these processes will be automated for the teachers in order to manage their time easily.

Smartphones can also be a good avenue of such technology. Through the use of these phones, attendances can now be marked. Appraisal reports can also be done through the use of such websites like Google Sheets for easier recording and analysis of data. Everything will be automated.

Calendars can also be synced through cloud-based applications or websites so as to avoid con with parents of each student) and during these meetings, ratings and grades can be viewed by the parents to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the student without the need for printing of report cards.

Teachers and students are connected with each other throughout it is important for the teaching staff to put all their efforts on the work that they do, for each and every student for them to perform well in class. The digital system is helping teachers to enjoy a wellmanaged and organized ambiance resulting in outstanding student productivity which will prove not both the students and the teachers.
