Event to empower junior women entrepreneurs from Asean to be organized in Jakarta
ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) will organize the 2nd Asean-Japan Women Entrepreneurs’ Linkage Pro- gram (AJWELP), which is a business presentation event to link novice women entrepreneurs with support- ing companies, mentors and others, in Jakarta, Indonesia on December 5, 2017. It will be co-hosted by Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia (Kadin: Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), in cooperation with Ministry of Cooperatives and SME of Indonesia, Asean Secretariat, Asean Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Asean Business Advisory Council (ABAC), Asean Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN) and other relevant organizations.
In this event, a woman entrepreneur representing respective Asean member states will make a presentation on their business plan and challenges in front of companies that could become supporters, mentors who are established women entrepreneurs from both the Asean member states and Japan, and others. The presenters will receive various kinds of assistance from supporting companies and mentors on their business plans and advice for possible solutions to their business challenges.
