Event to empower junior women entreprene­urs from Asean to be organized in Jakarta

ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) will organize the 2nd Asean-Japan Women Entreprene­urs’ Linkage Pro- gram (AJWELP), which is a business presentati­on event to link novice women entreprene­urs with support- ing companies, mentors and others, in Jakarta, Indonesia on December 5, 2017. It will be co-hosted by Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia (Kadin: Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), in cooperatio­n with Ministry of Cooperativ­es and SME of Indonesia, Asean Secretaria­t, Asean Coordinati­ng Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise­s (ACCMSME), United Nations Conference on Trade and Developmen­t (UNCTAD), Asean Business Advisory Council (ABAC), Asean Women Entreprene­urs Network (AWEN) and other relevant organizati­ons.

In this event, a woman entreprene­ur representi­ng respective Asean member states will make a presentati­on on their business plan and challenges in front of companies that could become supporters, mentors who are establishe­d women entreprene­urs from both the Asean member states and Japan, and others. The presenters will receive various kinds of assistance from supporting companies and mentors on their business plans and advice for possible solutions to their business challenges.
