DOST-SEI holds search for ‘InnoBox’ contest

THE Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) invites proposals for “InnoBox: Search for the Most Innovative Teaching and Learning Materials in Science,” a nationwide search for the most innovative teaching and learning resources in science.

The Innobox Project aims to encourage teachers to be innovative in teaching science concepts to students. DOST-SEI said the competition is open to all public and private elementary and secondary schools in the country.

The department said Filipino teachers who are currently teaching science may submit their entries to categories: Grade 3 to 6, Grade 7 to 10, and Grade 11 to 12.

Participants should be science teachers or a team led by a principal proponent, who is also a science teacher. DOST-SEI also encourages collaboration with students in conceptualizing the proposed innovation.
