Edukasyon.ph bags more recognition abroad
AFTER winning the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( Asean) Youth Social Entrepreneurship Award last August, Edukasyon. ph continued to make waves internationally by successfully winning the French Tech Asia Startup Contest held in the city the Asean Impact Challenge 2017 this coming November.
Edukasyon.ph co-founder and CEO Henry Motte- Muñoz said these achievements do not only recognize the work they are doing “but also validate the meaningful impact of our solution to education accessibility.”
“Truly, we are thankful for these recognitions as these only proved that our innovative approach to solving the education- to- career mismatch works,” he said. “Since 2016, we are able to empower 1.5 million Filipino students and we will continue to make our website,
, an accessible online portal for schools, courses, or scholarships.”
The French Tech Asia award was a back-to-back win with the Special French Tech Award during Awards Night of CCI France Philippines. This competition was organized by Foreign Trade Advisors along with French Tech Hubs networks in Asia.
Among the other 40 contestants, Edukasyon.ph was chosen to present at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas this January 2018. “We are humbled to be given the chance to share our story and our platform to the world,” Motte-Muñoz said
“At Edukasyon.ph, we seek to empower students everyday by being the go- to online portal for information on education to career pathways as these students discover the right track or course for them; choose the right career; and apply online to their dream school for free,” he added.
Meanwhile, Edukasyon. ph is also set to compete against four other Asean representatives on the scale-stage ventures category of the Asean Impact Challenge 2017 that will be held on November 11 to 14.
The Asean Impact Challenge aims to recognize innovators and entrepreneurs from the region whose initiatives are in line with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
