Philab, MyDocNow extend healthcare access
PHILAB Industries Inc., subsidiary of health sciences firm Philab Holdings Corp., has recently announced its partnership with My Doctor Now ( MyDocNow) that will reach out to the rural and underserved communities in the country through remote diagnostics and treatment, further strengthening Philab’s goal in providing access to healthcare services for over 100 million Filipinos.
Initially launched in the Philippines last 2016, MyDocNow is an organization of medical and health professionals dedicated in widening healthcare options through virtual healthcare delivery.

With the help of telemedicine technology, we are addressing the challenge of reaching out to the underserved communities in need of equal medical attention,” said Tom Navasero ( left), chairman and president of Philab Holdings Inc.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mike Vergara (right), chief medical officer of MyDocNow, said “We are committed in bringing this telemedicine platform around the country with the goal to provide a more - tors alike to receive and provide quality services. The presence of telemedicine technology removes the inconvenience and costs for both doctors and patients when it comes to travelling and distance.”
