PUBLiCUS Asia to bare result of millennial poll

-

PUBLiCUS Asia Inc. will launch on Friday 24, Friday, the result of its PAHAYAG Online Pilot Poll on Filipino millennials.

The poll seeks to establish a baseline for Filipino millennials on their brand of politics, economics, and a plethora of social issues. It will solicit the millennial’s opinions on extra-judicial killings (EJKs), war against illegal drugs, their view of the country’s leaders, and their sense of belonging to their family, society, and the whole country.

The respondents will also be asked about the values they uphold, their priorities and goals in life, and how they perceive the direction of the country’s future. The survey will also examine millennial’s online activities and habits in this digital age.

Data from the Commission on Elections showed that almost half of the 54,363,844 registered voters --24,730,013—are millennials, or those who were born from 1981 to 1998.

Respondents in the online poll can answer the survey wherever they are, as long as there is stable internet connection.

The PAHAYAG Online Pilot Poll was powered by Vox Survey Online. The respondents were com- posed of Filipinos who registered for the survey on their own volition. Lightspeed Research actively managed and recruited panel members based on their activity and engagement by demographic group to ensure sound quality of data from panelists.

Results of the online poll will be launched at Nostalg 1, 5/ F Joy~Nostalg Hotel and Suites, ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

On August 28, 2017, PUBLiCUS released the results of PAHAYAG Pilot Study to the public, which was conducted with the use of computer-assisted personal interviewing data collection method. It departed from the traditional pen and paper interviews which had a longer turnaround time. It also introduced its own index — the Love, Care and Solidarity of Leaders Index (LCSI) and the Decisiveness Rating of top govern of the new index to measure the leader’s performance is an effort to “introduce EQ into the fray,” according to PUBLiCUS founder and CEO, Ma. Lourdes N. Tiquia.

PUBLiCUS has been doing studies of millennials for the past eight years through its national surveys on the psychographics of Filipino voters.
