SHE may not have won the coveted Miss Universe crown on Monday, but Rachel Peters definitely won the hearts, not just of rabid Filipino pageant fans, but of local celebritie­s as well.

As such, congratula­tory messages for her notable Top 10 finish in the pageant— dubbed “The Oscars” of beauty contests— abounded on social media.
