Healthcare technology company kicks off Philips MOM for Moms

ROYAL Philips, a global leader in health technology, unveiled a new campaign to tackle the rising rates of maternal mortality cases in the Philippine­s, as research from the United Nations Children’s Fund reveals that the Philippine­s is one of 68 countries that contribute to 97 percent of maternal, neonatal and child health death worldwide.

Mobile Obstetrics Monitoring is a software solution of Philips that allows community healthcare workers receive diagnostic assistance, and assess a patient’s progress via mobile device to enhance maternal care in community settings for expectant mothers.
