PH powerlifte­rs shine in Asian Classic meet

THE national powerlifti­ng team won 19 gold, 11 silver and three bronze medals in the 2017 Asian Classic Powerlifti­ng Championsh­ip held at the Ramada Hotel activity hall in Alappuzha, Kerala in India.

Promising lifter Nicole Go led the charge of the squad by garnering four gold medals in the women’s 84+ kgs. junior category (squat, bench press, - gelista also swept all the four gold medals (squat, bench press, deadlift open division.
