Zalora to increase site capacity in PH as e-commerce business thrives

ONLINE shopping platform Zalora plans to increase its site capacity in the country to support its vision of bolstering its Philippine footprint, a top executive said on Thursday.

He declined to name the exact location and how much the company had earmarked for the establishm­ent, but added that Zalora would be leasing the property within an Ayala developmen­t.

Campos stressed the move would strengthen Zalora’s leadership in online fashion shopping, particular­ly since 66 percent of the Filipino population are already using the internet.

“Next year, we plan to expand the coverage of our logistics to other key cities. Partner drivers will also increase,” he said. “We have 20 hubs now and there will be additional hubs next year,” he added.
