Epson continues to move towards business, corporate solutions

AFTER its success in the business inkjet printers segment, Epson Philippines again highlighted the technologies and innovations that it continues to offer to various institutions with regards to practical solutions.

Epson Philippines Marketing Division Head Ed Bonoan said the company is pushing for more innovations that can help various institutions from different industries.

“Our innovations are there to show our clients that we have solutions for businesses to adopt. We offer things that boost convenience, cost savings, and we want to do more things with less,” he said. “This is one way that we’re trying to move to the market and to at least tell the market that it’s possible.”

Epson Philippines has been expanding the line- up of its business segment, which contains additional features that help address the printing needs of corporations and big enterprises.

With its core technologies, Epson’s new business printers can offer options for duplex printing, A3 printing, monochrome printing, as well as high- speed multifunction printers.

“We looked at the kind of solutions that we had out of all of our products. We also looked at possible scenarios that business users and institutions may have as problems,” Bonoan said.

“Our competitive edge is really about the details because we develop everything from end to end,” he added.

Bonoan said the newest Epson technologies help address environmental objectives by lowering power consumption, having fewer parts for maintenance and an enhanced document security. Epson’s small printer category includes label printers, which have been developed for industrial and commercial use that address the new wave of printing in color.
