Primer Group partners with AUB for WeChat Pay

ASIA United Bank (AUB) recently added the Primer Group of Companies, a retail and distribution company, to its roster of accredited merchants for mobile payment facility WeChat Pay.

WeChat Pay is the mobile wallet inside Chinese social messaging app. It allows Chinese tourists in the Philippines to make cross-border payments. Launched in the Philippines 2017, WeChat Pay is a fast, secure, and convenient way to pay for shopping, dining, hotel and airline bookings, and other tourism-related activities of the Chinese, now the second largest inbound tourists in the country.

Founded in 1985, the Primer Group has diversified and expanded its portfolio from premium branded consumer goods to airconditioning, textile printing and manufacturing, digital printing, eco tourism, hospitality management, and “green” consultancy.
