FDCP workshops include screening of 2nd Eddys best film nominees
THE Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors’ 2nd Eddys (Entertainment Editors’ Choice) will screen two best film nominees
during the two-day workshops of the Film Development of the Philippines (FDCP).
TBA’s “Birdshot” and T-Rex Entertainment’s “Deadma Walking” will unreel on May 26 and 27 at the Cinematheque Center Manila of FDCP.
The free film showings, in line with Globe’s #playitright anti- piracy campaign, will come after the FDCP workshops on Scriptwriting by Fatrick Tabada (9 a.m. to 12 noon) and Sound Design (2 p. m. to 5 p.m.) and by Immanuel Verona on May 26, 6 p.m.; and Acting by Anthony Falcon (9 a.m. to 12 noon) and Cinematography (2 p. m. to 5 p.m.) by Rain n

On the road to the 2nd Eddys, nominees will be recognized at The Eddys Nominees Night, happening in partnership with FDCP, SPEEd officers and FDCP chair Liza
Diño will be awarding
event on June 3, 5 p.m., at 38 Valencia Events Place, Quezon City. A glittering after-party, The Eddys Mega Party, hosted by OneMega Group, will place after the awards rites
Slated early July, the 2nd Eddys is in partnership with FDCP and telecom giant Globe, represented by Senior Vice President Yoly Crisanto. Produced by the fastest- growing FM station, Wish 107.5, the show is to be directed Paolo Valenciano.
