PFA supports the rebuilding of Marawi through franchisin­g

THE Philippine Franchise Associatio­n (PFA), the country’s premier and only internatio­nallyrecog­nized franchise associatio­n, and the Philippine Center for Entreprene­urship (GoNegosyo), in partnershi­p with the Department of Trade and Industry, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur and the City Government of Marawi, recently launched the Franchise Interventi­on to Rebuild Marawi at the Lanao del Sur Provincial Capitol, Marawi City.

Over 300 project beneficiar­ies attended the two-day event consisting of signing of Memorandum of Understand­ing between PFA, GoNegosyo and its partners, seminars on Entreprene­urial Mind-setting and How to Invest in the Right Franchise seminars, and presentati­ons on special franchise investment packages being offered to the persons displaced by the Marawi siege.

Joined by franchise brands Aquabest, Caffe La Tea, Laundry Best, Mr. Softy, Potato Chef, Snack-A-ttack, and Xcess Salon, the event also featured a small business matching area where the participan­ts had a one-on-one discussion with franchisor­s.

Sealing the deal for the project implementa­tion are PFA led by its Vice Chairman and also the President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ma.
