PFA supports the rebuilding of Marawi through franchising
THE Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), the country’s premier and only internationallyrecognized franchise association, and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (GoNegosyo), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur and the City Government of Marawi, recently launched the Franchise Intervention to Rebuild Marawi at the Lanao del Sur Provincial Capitol, Marawi City.
Over 300 project beneficiaries attended the two-day event consisting of signing of Memorandum of Understanding between PFA, GoNegosyo and its partners, seminars on Entrepreneurial Mind-setting and How to Invest in the Right Franchise seminars, and presentations on special franchise investment packages being offered to the persons displaced by the Marawi siege.
Joined by franchise brands Aquabest, Caffe La Tea, Laundry Best, Mr. Softy, Potato Chef, Snack-A-ttack, and Xcess Salon, the event also featured a small business matching area where the participants had a one-on-one discussion with franchisors.
Sealing the deal for the project implementation are PFA led by its Vice Chairman and also the President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ma.
