2019 ‘Call for Project Proposals For Arts and Culture’ opens
THE National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), announces the annual Call for Project thrusts and priorities anchored mainly on the NCCA vision: Filipino culture as the wellspring of national and global well-being (Ang kalinangang Filipino ay bukal ng kagalingang pambansa at pandaigdig) and aligned with the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022: Chapter 7 on Culture (Promoting Philippine Culture and Values).
Through the National Endowment Fund for Culture and the Arts (NEFCA), the NCCA provides assistance to various arts and culture projects spearheaded by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Peoples Organizations (POs), Indigenous Peoples Organizations (IPOs), Individuals, Local Government Units (LGUs), Government Agencies (GAs), State Universities/ Colleges and Public Schools through its NCCA Competitive Grants Program. Filipino individuals engaged in research are also encouraged to apply.
Projects are categorized per Subcommission – Arts; Heritage; Cultural Dissemination; and Cultural Communities and Traditional Arts – and project briefs as well as guidelines and requirements can be viewed and downloaded at the NCCA Web site.
Aside from the competitive grants, NCCA also accepts applications for the Commission’s Institutional Programs such as the Outreach Program, Resource Persons and Experts Bureau Program, and the Technical Assistance Program.
Filipino individuals as well as civil society organizations, indigenous peoples’ organizations/groups, local government units, government agencies, state universities/colleges and public schools are all encouraged to apply.

Deadline of submissions of letters of intent and proposals is July 31, 2018. It must be submitted to the Planning, Policy Formulation and Programming Division (PPFPD) led by its division chief, Bernan 633 General Luna Street, Intramuros, Manila.
