RECENTLY, the whole world had their eyes glued on the television as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle walked the aisle for their wedding vows. Aside from the distinguis­hed and celebrity guests with their family used also shared the limelight, especially the Bentley limousine used by Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning British monarch, and her husband, Prince Phillip.

Officially known as Her Majesty The Queen’s State Limousine, the Bentley State car is a custom-built car used by the British monarch in her public engagement­s and ceremonial occasions. It is crafted by the Mulliner division of Bentley that offers options for personaliz­ation and customizat­ion. The Queen’s state car was constructe­d to perfection, with attention to detail taken to the extreme.

This Bentley vehicle was created in 2002 to mark the 50th anniversar­y of The Queen’s accession to the British throne. The bespoke Bentley State Limousine

the Queen’s wishes. Draped in an elegant hue of majestic maroon, the car features the royal coat of arms and The Queen’s personal mascot of Saint George.
