Porsche B59 An ode to Haywood

Driving Porsches almost exclusively through to the mid- 1990s, Haywood

Hours of Daytona.
One of the last five 997- model production Porsches, the Porsche GTS B59 Edition pays homage to Haywood’s amazing record of overall wins at Daytona with a unique package of special features highlighted by its Brumos Racing livery combining Carrera white with blue and red striping. Black racing mirrors and 19-inch Sport Classic Fuchs-style wheels complete the car’s racy exterior treatment. The Black full-leather interior is trimmed with Alcantara and blue and red dualstripe stitching accents on the steering wheel rim, shifter boot and brake handle. Carrera white paint is also used on the console and the backs of the special heated memory Adaptive Sport Seats, the latter also incorporating Guards Red seat belts.
Special 911s
“It is an honor and a pleasure to be involved so closely with the Porsche factory in Germany and here in the States during the creation of these special 911s — the last of the popular 997 model line. In creating the 2012 911 Carrera GTS B59 Editions, we want to honor the close working relationship Brumos has always enjoyed with the factory over the years,” said Ray Shaffer, Brumos Porsche general manager.

Each 2012 Carrera GTS B59 Edition will be delivered with a factory produced photo book. This special, coffee table-style book properly documents the history, heritage, and pedigree of the 2012 911 Carrera GTS B59 Edition.
The 2012 911 Carrera GTS B59 Edition Coupes will all be finished in Carrera White and feature a Black Full Leather interior with Alcantara trim.
