Resorts World Manila recognized by regional CSR body

RESORTS World Manila (RWM) recently received the Asia Responsibl­e Enterprise Award (AREA) for Social Empowermen­t for its Love Dish Project during the 2018 Internatio­nal CSR Summit held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom.

The Love Dish Project was one of RWM’s CSR initiative­s for 2017. By putting together Filipinos’ love for food, celebritie­s, and charity, the project gave RWM members and guests the opportunit­y to experience the culinary expertise of select celebrity chefs while allowing them to contribute to the greater community.

Seven celebrity chefs, led by former MTV Asia VJ Donita Rose, developed new recipes that were donated to RWM for inclusion in the menus of its signature restaurant­s. The AREA is an annual awards ceremony that recognizes and honors Asian businesses that
