SPEAKING UP

A group of retired senior officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police, which formed themselves into an advocacy group that promotes and increases awareness of national interests, link arms in a press conference at the Club Filipino in San Juan City on Wednesday. The group is concerned about the impending passage of the Bangsamoro Basic Law, stressing that it must not violate the Constitution and that it will unequivocally ensure that the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao will remain part of the country.
