NU Bullpups-B ready for Division 2 action

THE National University Bullpups-B have entered the senior division, and will be among the teams that will see action in the 16th Fr. Martin Cup Division 2 basketball tournament when it fires off this Saturday at the St. Placid gymnasium inside the San Beda-Manila campus in Mendiola.

The Bullpups-B, who won the junior division honors last year, will meet Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila at 9:30 a.m.

Earlier, University of Santo Tomas clashes with First City Providential School of Bulacan at 8 a.m. in the junior side.

The San Beda-Manila Red Kittens takes on St. Joseph Bulacan at 11 a.m.

Last year, the Bullpups leaned on twin towers Carl Tamayo Kevin Quiambao in repulsing the Manila Patriotic School Patriots, 91-69, to claim the junior division honors.

The Diliman College Blue Dragons are the defending champions in the senior division. They beat the San Beda Red Lions, 58-53, in the finals.
