Bugatti teases super exclusive Divo one-off
AS if the Chiron Super Sport that was debuted a few months ago wasn’t exclusive and insane enough, think again - the Molsheim-based car company has conceived something more insane yet more exclusive.
Bugatti announced a new super exclusive car called the Divo that will be limited to just 40 vehicles.
The car is named after Albert Divo, who won the Targa Florio twice with a Bugatti. Bugatti Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann said in a statement that the new model will focus on cornering performance unlike the Veyron and Chiron before it.
“With the Divo, we want to thrill people throughout the world. With this project, the Bugatti team has an opportunity to interpret the brand DNA in terms of agile, nimble handling in a significantly more performance- oriented way,” Winkelmann added.
Bugatti has not teased other visual details other than the Divo logo that will adorn the super exclusive vehicle. The French company said that it will revive its coach building roots and it will arrive with a new design, a lighter body, and better aerodynamics that focus on serious handling capabilities.
The car will be unveiled in August 24 this year at The Quail, a motor sports gathering in California, and will be priced at above 5 million euros, more than two Bugatti Chirons combined, making it one of the most expensive production cars to ever grace the world.
