Perlas Spikers focus on teamwork
BANKO- PERLAS Spikers head coach Ariel Dela Cruz said on Friday that they are ready to adjust and work together in the next Premier Volleyball League (PVL) AllFilipino Conference scheduled in October
“Last conference kasi it’s more of an import games kungsinomalakasang import ‘yunangmalakasna team,” Dela Cruz said in a news conference in Kuya J’s, Kita Theater in Cubao . “Sinabikosa team kona we should work together and contribute every game,” he said.
BanKo Perlas is fresh from a thirdplace finish in the 2018 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Dela Cruz noted that the Perlas Spikers does not have any star player and urged his wards to work together as a team each game.
“There are plans to add players kaya langlahatng players naminay under contract kayamahirapmaghanap but I am very confident with my players right now,” he said.
Perlas Open Spiker Amanda Villanueva said they felt ready for the All- Filipino conference next season because of the trainings they’ve had abroad.
“We’re always looking forward to the experiences and learning we will get,” Villanueva said.
Meanwhile, BPI Direct BanKo President Jerome Minglana said they chose the Perlas Spikers as partner because they share similar vision and goals.
The team is also set to conduct a series of nationwide volleyball clinics from August to September to children of self- employed micro- entrepreneurs.
