Mojdeh, Dula shine in PSL National Series

PROMISING tankers Behrouz Mojdeh and Mikaela Bliss Dula bannered the Most Outstandin­g Swimmer awardees in Motivation­al Division of the

143rd Philippine Swimming League ( PSL) National Series - Short Course Swim Meet held at the Diliman Preparator­y School ( DPS) swimming pool in Quezon City.

Mojdeh, younger brother of Palarong Pambansa Most Bemedalled Athlete Micaela Jasmine, dominated the boys’ 7- year category while Dula, younger sister of reigning Male Swimmer of the Year Marc Bryan, topped the girls’ 9- year division.

John Xavier Salinel ( boys’ 10- year), Triggs Mark Valdez ( boys’ 11- year), Ryan Matthew Tipon and Paolo Donato ( boys’ 12- year), Glendwyn Giles Mariscotes ( boys’ 13- year), John Leo Paul Salibio ( boys’ 14- year) and Gabriel Del Rosario ( boys’ 15- over) likewise bagged their respective MOS awards.

In girls’ class, the recipients of MOS plums were Jenn Albreicht Sermonia ( 10), Irshia Nicollette Gacad ( 11), Patricia Ann Donato ( 13) and Franchezca Giannah Pascual ( 15- over) in the tournament supported by The Manila Times, MX3 and DMI Medical Co.

Gabriel Gaditano ( boys’ 15- over), Jazmine Andrea Go ( girls’ 15- over), Richmond Lim ( boys’ 14- year) and Beatrice Angela David ( girls’ 14- year) led the MOS winners in the Novice Category.

The other awardees were David Adam Jandayan (6-under), Joaquin Christophe­r Reyes (7), Juriz Colin Vivas ( 8), Kevin Paranal (9), Lee Gerard Aspiras (10), Jose Eduardo Miguel Santos (11), Noah Harvey Buemio (12) and Rahmley Insequel (13) in boys, and Sophia Rose Garra (6-under), Maria Cedella Bautista (8), Ericka Sanchez (9), Charisse Catapang (10), Mikaela Louisse Perez (11), Beatrice Chen (12) and Angela Patricia Uy ( 13) in girls.

Diliman Preparator­y School headed by coach Albert Sermonia II took the overall champion crown while Grand Villa Swim Team and Babiera Swim Team, settled for second and third, respective­ly.
