OTTERY charity

Mandated as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character, PCSO holds and conducts are two words charity sweepstakes, races, and lotteries. It engages in health and welfare-related investments, projects and activities to provide for permanent and continuing sources of funds for its programs. It also undertakes other activities to enhance and expand such fund-generating operations as well as strengthen the agency’s fundmanagement capabilities.

One of the agency’s many health programs is the Medicine Donation Program which provides augmentation of the needed medicines in

non-government agencies enabling

care services as a stop gap measure.

An organization that recently requested for support for its medical and dental program was the Federation of Senior Citizens of Fairview Park, Quezon City represented by association president and chairman Retired Gen. Federico Ruiz. The medicines were distributed to the members at the covered court of Barangay Fairview on July 27.

Ruiz expressed his appreciation for PCSO granting their organization’s request, especially that senior citizens have great needs for medication for their day-to-day maintenance and subsistence.
