Formally organized in June 2017, the new associatio­n put up a search for models that will showcase the creations of the designers in multi- media platforms besides ramp fashion.

At the end of the night, the panel of judges—composed of luminaries from the fashion, media and entertainm­ent industries—chose Pampanga resident John Paul Smith and Laguna native Eloisa Jauod as the grand winners.

Both senior high school students and 17-year-olds with prior exposure in ramp modeling, Smith and Jauod also come from mixed ancestry — he a Filipino-American and she a Filipino-Indian.
